<br />
I seem to have bought a lot of new products this month and found it ridiculously hard to pick my favourites but this is what I went for;<br />
<a href="http://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/anastasia-beverly-hills-brow-wiz.html" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Ash Brown</span></i></a>: By God, this is the best eyebrow product I've ever used. The pencil itself is very soft without being waxy, which I love - too waxy and it seems to just slip off my face. It stays put all day and the little spoolie on the end is a nice touch.<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%C2%99-Supercat%C2%99-Eyeliner-pen-Carbon-Black-Extreme_1238278/" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen</span></i></a>: This is the holy grail of eyeliners for me. I always prefer a pen style of eyeliner as this is just the application method I prefer. It gives a really intense colour pay off, the nib is thin enough to get a nice thin start to the line. It doesn't budge all day, which is such a bonus as I'm not having to wipe the black panda circles away from under my eyes.<br />
<a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/eyes/hollow-cream-pigment" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow</span></i></a>: Being a pale gal, it's hard to get a contour shade that doesn't leave me looking like I've put an orange line on my face but this Illamasqua pigment is an ashy, slightly grey toned, brown so it looks super natural.<br />
<a href="http://www.harrods.com/product/colour-to-go-portable-palette-for-eyes-cheeks-and-lips-smoky-violet/laura-mercier/000000000003318656" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">Laura Mercier Colour-To-Go Portable Palette For Eyes, Cheeks & Lips in Smoky Violet</span></i></a>: This little box contains everything you need for a great cool toned makeup look. This has made it in to my favourites mostly for the eyeshadows. I use the pink all over the lid with the satin purple through the crease and it creates a great daytime smoky eye. Plus, they don't crease, at all - hooray.<br />
<a href="http://www.dermalogica.co.uk/uk/html/products/intensive-moisture-balance-16.html?type=function&cat=moisturizers" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance</span></i></a>: All hail the best moisturiser in the land. There is literally nothing more I can say about this, apart from the fact that if you have dry skin, you need to buy this as it is a little miracle worker.<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Essie-Nail-Polish-Aruba-Blue-13-5ml_1347681/" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">Essie Nail Polish in Aruba Blue</span></i></a>: This seems to be the nail polish that everyone compliments me on when I wear it. It's a sapphire blue shade with a frosty finish. I love dark nails and this is dark without looking like black from a distance.<br />
<a href="http://www.boots.com/en/LOreal-Paris-Studio-Line-TXT-Volume-Supersizing-Spray-200ml_1401528/" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">LOreal Paris Studio Line TXT Volume Supersizing Spray</span></i></a>: My mission in life will always be to make my thin hair look like a fabulous mane and this definitely gives me a helping hand. It doesn't make my hair feel dry either, which is such a bonus as I find most sprays like this do.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This week I have finally gotten around to booking a week of work - thank God. I've got to wait it out till the end of April but it's going to be pure joy when it finally comes around. I've booked tickets so I can visit London at the start of the week, my shopping saving fund is now in full swing and I expect to see most of it disappear in Vcitoria's Secret and Topshop and I am nothing but happy about it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This weekend, I went in to Cardiff on a mission for some Spring like clothes. I'm not one for colour and seem to permanently live in black clothes so thought I should try and make them slightly more suitable for the (hopefully) soon to be changing weather. I picked up two crop tops,<span style="color: #ead1dc;"><i> <a href="http://www.hm.com/gb/product/26974?article=26974-A" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ead1dc;">a white t-shirt style one</span></a></i></span> from H&M for £3.99 and a <a href="http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/tops/black-gingham-check-sleeveless-crop-top_309676909" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">black and white gingham print one</span></i></a> from New Look for £9.99. In New Look I also got <a href="http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jewellery-and-hair-accessories/silver-triple-gem-spike-necklace_300828292?isRecent=true" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">this big black jewelled necklace</span></i></a> for £12.99 and thought it would look great over plain t-shirts to make them look a bit more intersting. I've been desperate for a little wool hat for ages after initially seeing one in Topshop but begrudged paying £25 for it so when I saw <a href="http://www.hm.com/gb/product/23815?article=23815-A" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ead1dc;"><i>this one</i></span></a> in H&M for £7.99 I snapped it up and then took many photos posing in it. My last purchase was <a href="http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?searchTerm=palm&storeId=12556&productId=13609394&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057" target="_blank"><i><span style="color: #ead1dc;">this palm tree top</span></i></a> from Topshop, I love this palm tree print that seems to be everywhere at the moment and the colours of this were right up my street, I also love the thick material of this top so I feel for £20 it's really reasonable.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As for today, I plan on eating too much fudge and watching the new Thor movie in my pyjamas - always an adventurous Sunday. </div>

<br />
I am beginning to realise just how many eyeshadows I own but will that stop me buying any more? Of course not. So please welcome, the newest edition to my pretty magnificent collection, Wet N Wild's Walking on Eggshells Trio.<br />
I love these palettes, they're so simple but contain three really pretty shades with engraved instructions, genius. Walking On Eggshells contains 3 shimmery shades; the highlighter is a creamy white colour, the crease is a goldren brown and the eyelid is a champagne gold with just the right amount of pink thrown in the mix. I'm all about eyeshadows that brighten up my eyes and over all complexion and I find these are the perfect shades for doing that. Brighter eyes is making me feel much more Spring like and definitely leaving me wishing for better weather.<br />
I picked this palette up for £6.28 (including P&P) on Amazon and I can't get over what good quality they are for such a small price tag. The shadows are really pigmented and they last all day without creasing on me at all (I always use the Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base for my eyeshadows).<br />
I really can't believe what a bargain these eyeshadows are and I can't wait to pick a few more palettes up from Wet N Wild. And, if you're after a bright, spring eye look then this palette is definitely for you.<br />

<br />
Did somebody say bandwagon? Because I definitely just jumped on it. Urban Decay is becoming well known for its 'Naked Collection' and I am a proud owner of the original Naked palette and now the Naked 3 palette.<br />
This palette consists of mostly rose hue shades and seems to be a big hit or miss amongst many make-up fans. I get that pink shades aren't for everyone and can sometimes leave you looking like you're suffering from a serious case of red eye. However, this is right up my street. Being a constant eye liner wearer, I find this allows separation between my shadow and, you know, eye ball so I don't get that red eye effect.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAHKGNWefNAhCESf7rATkjrwcs1UgmUE5LlzY28O_W2XuFXhHiCCrHj3XieuKM37ypxKczkUUCiCy3u3wL6HxWqZxqa23Wj8lhWp7r9wq-1TsFtvak2K1jpK3VykquSr9z-w8OtddnzCUt/s1600/naked3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAHKGNWefNAhCESf7rATkjrwcs1UgmUE5LlzY28O_W2XuFXhHiCCrHj3XieuKM37ypxKczkUUCiCy3u3wL6HxWqZxqa23Wj8lhWp7r9wq-1TsFtvak2K1jpK3VykquSr9z-w8OtddnzCUt/s1600/naked3.png" height="128" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love the range of finishes in this palette, look at all the glittery shades *screams internally*. I always apply eyeshadow over the Urban Decay Primer Potion and I find that these last all day with only slightly minor creasing. One thing I will say is that the matte shades are a little hard to blend so extremely fluffy brushes at the ready, ladies.<br />
Just like with any palettes I have some clear favourite shades that I find myself gravitating towards, for the Naked 3 it has to be; Strange (a pearlescent white), Dust (a glittery light pink), Trick (a shimmery rose gold) and Factory (a satin brown).<br />
This palette also comes with 4 Primer Potion samples and a very handy dual ended brush with a fluffier end and compact, flat side which is ideal for the glittery shadows.<br />
In comparison to the original Naked Palette, that enormous mirror is a bonus and I find that the packaging has really improved and love the metal tin that it has upgraded to as I found the velvet just attracted fluff and dirt.<br />
All in all, I love this palette. The colours are just beautiful and all very wearable and like all Urban Decay products, the quality is amazing. The extras that come with this palette are also a lovely little extra.<br />

Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen, that is indeed blue skies and sunshine you see before you. It's becoming such a rare sight that I had to take a snap of it before it gets engulfed by the next storm.<br />
I definitely feel like work has drained me of any energy this week and I think I might be in need of a week off soon. However, the 1975's album has definitely been getting me through and I would strongly suggest giving it a listen if you haven't already.<br />
I had a ridiculously unsuccessful day shopping yesterday where all I bought was a bloody bikini, in February... A bit of a silly purchase, maybe? So, I picked up Vogue today and I'm attempting to be inspired and I have come to the conclusion that a pair of Slip On trainers is definitely an essential purchase and <a href="http://www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/2,30/1625890134" target="_blank"><span style="color: #d5a6bd;">this leopard pair from Office</span></a> has definitely caught my eye, plus they're only £20 with free delivery. They're becoming pretty hard to turn down.<br />
Plus, my recent healthy eating kick was slightly compromised today after purchasing a pack of Jammie Dodgers alongside my magazine but hey, you have to treat yourself every now and again.<br />
Anyway, back to preparing for the dreaded Monday morning.<br />

<br />
I saw a photo of this L'Oreal cleansing oil on Instagram some time ago now and that was all I needed to persuade me to buy this. I have never used an oil make-up remover before so I was a little weary about it but it was labelled as 'non-greasy' and for the reasonable price of £5.33 (usually £7.99), I couldn't turn it down.<br />
When I think 'oil cleanser' a few things spring to mind: greasy, sticky, messy, blocking, my list could go on. However, my preconception could not have been more wrong. I apply this to my skin when dry as my first cleanse. I use about three pumps in my palm and then slap it all over my face. I then leave it for those 15 seconds, remove with a cotton wool pad (am I the only one who can easily goes through a pack of cotton wool pads in a matter of days?) and ta-dah, my face full of make-up is no more.<br />
The biggest test for me with a make-up remover is how well it can remove my mountains of eyeliner and I can happily report that this has well and truly past with no brutal scrubbing and rubbing involved. It genuinely does appear to dissolve the thick lashings that I seem to apply.<br />
It leaves my very dry and dehydrated skin feeling really soft and smooth, no greasy residue is left behind and leaves me with no irritation. Maybe extremely oily skin might not get on with this but I would think this would be great for most skin types.<br />
All in all, this is a great pre-cleanser/make-up remover. As far as the comparison with Micellar Water, this wins hands down. It is so much more gentle and just simpler to remove make-up, as I find with the waters there is far too much harsh scrubbing involved in comparison to this, which you gentle smooth over all your face.<br />

My obsession with pink continues but this time in the form of this beautiful lipstick from Maybelline. The shade is called Kiss Pearl and is part of the ColorSensational Lipstick range. It's a fairly sheer, light baby pink shade with a pearlescent finish. Because of how light the colour is, I blot out my natural lip colour (which is quite red) with whatever is leftover on my concealer brush so that I can get as close to the colour in the bullet. As far as staying power goes, it's not one of the greatest and I find myself reapplying this about every hour in work to keep a noticeable colour. It's not drying at all but leaves the lips with a really nice moisturised feeling.<br />
I love this colour but I really want something similar but with a lot more impact, I'm thinking something like Lime Crime's Great Pink Planet but would love some other suggestions so throw them my way.<br />

Since Essie has been made so easily available (thank you Boots!), my collection seems to grow increasingly larger every week. My most recent purchase was Essie Fiji and I'm now beginning to question why I didn't buy it any sooner. It's the most perfect pale, milky pink and just like all Essie nail polishes, it lasts so well on the nails. Granted, the first coat you apply of this does look a bit streaky and scary but after the second it turns completely opaque. I think I'm a little bit in love with this colour and it's going to be perfect for Spring. I'm also enjoying how many people comment on this colour when I'm at work so it's a definite winner for me.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My battle with dry skin has been going on for just over a year now and I'm not talking a little bit of dehydration; my skin basically looks like it's peeling off of my face, particularly around my nose and the top of my cheek bones (bet I'm painting a beautiful picture right now, sorry guys!). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have tried so many products to try and get my skin to look even the slightest bit better; so after many hours scrawling through the internet for some miracle solution, I'd seen a few people suggesting Dermalogica as a brand that may hold the key. As their products are on the pricey side of life, I decided to pick up the <a href="http://www.dermalogica.co.uk/uk/html/products/skin-kit-dry-99.html?type=function&cat=skin+kits" target="_blank">dry skin kit</a>, which for £25 includes 5 generous sample sized items and 2 sachets. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've now polished my way through the majority of these items and it has to be said, my skin is looking pretty glowing right now. I would say you get a lot bang for your buck with these samples. All my severe dryness has cleared up and it has left my skin looking radiant without the help of a bit of cheeky highlighter. I can't say this is down to one of these products alone as I have been using them all in combination with each other (as well as a few other products in my skincare regime) but the stand out ones have to be the <a href="http://www.dermalogica.co.uk/uk/html/products/essential-cleansing-solution-4.html?type=function&cat=skin%20kits" target="_blank">Essential Cleansing Solution</a> and the <a href="http://www.dermalogica.co.uk/uk/html/products/intensive-moisture-balance-16.html?type=function&cat=skin%20kits" target="_blank">Intensive Moisture Balance</a>. They leave my skin feeling super soft and well nourished and are promptly being ordered in full sizes but I do plan to buy the eye cream, toner and exfoliant. The two sachets have not given me enough of a trial of these products so I'm reluctant to part with my cash for the full sizes. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a great starter kit for anyone who has skin on the dryer side of life and is looking to get themselves in a good skincare regime. It has worked wonders with me and I cannot say enough good things about it and can't wait to build up my Dermalogica collection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you would like more in-depth reviews of these products please let me know and I'll get to work on it.</div>

<br />
Sunday is genuinely my favourite day of the week. I'm guaranteed a day off from work where I can be a bit of a sloth and catch up on things from the week.<br />
So far my day has consisted of drinking copious amounts of tea and trying to plan some blog posts for the next few days in my amazing Wonder Woman notepad, courtesy of my Brother at Christmas. I also cannot stop swooning over my most recent purchase, my Ted Baker purse. The colour is beautiful, it's a patent mint colour with dog print inside and cost me a fairly reasonable £50 as I bought it in an outlet store so I am extremely pleased. Sunday also means browsing the Urban Outfitters site looking at bedding that I can never justify the price of (but it's so pretty!). My room needs a major overhaul and I'm trying to be inspired whilst sticking to a reasonable budget so if anyone has any ideas where I can get some bedroom ware from please let me know!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I've been seeing a lot of love for Sleek products on blogs and youtube but never ventured into the brand myself but in one of my rare visits to Superdrug pretty much everything from the Sleek counter caught my eye but being a poor student I couldn't buy it all so went with the Storm eyeshadow palette and Papaya Punch lipstick.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1hrWuCjWM19XI2Fo8Tb8vb_s_OoSL22yWwvRJNYnSk1NEUMbJaWT6VUyutqXpcjX9aYHnSTBuq0eTzkQKxnnfDCCxEJQLRsZfGw0oBZQlTAw6DmfjCGBIR6DfT7zdOSCWfG_C3hW1sto0/s1600/cdd6dbd4-d77a-40e9-88f5-c004d0c6ed4d_zpsc263f4e7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="332" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1hrWuCjWM19XI2Fo8Tb8vb_s_OoSL22yWwvRJNYnSk1NEUMbJaWT6VUyutqXpcjX9aYHnSTBuq0eTzkQKxnnfDCCxEJQLRsZfGw0oBZQlTAw6DmfjCGBIR6DfT7zdOSCWfG_C3hW1sto0/s640/cdd6dbd4-d77a-40e9-88f5-c004d0c6ed4d_zpsc263f4e7.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was torn between buying the Storm palette and the Au Natural palette but there was only one left of the Storm so I snapped it up, I'm sure I'll pick up the Au Natural Palette at some point. I loved the colours because it has a mixture of browny shades but I like to mix it up with a bit of colour too so these looked great.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The colours are so pigmented, just as good, if not better, then some higher end brands. They look great all day with no creasing, fall down or fading. I also love the mixture of matte and glitter shades in this palette. Also, a matte black is always handy in any palette as it means I can use it to line the upper lash line. They don't have names but I love the second, third and last shade of the top row and the second, fifth and of course the matte black on the bottom row.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9myAqgpbKQK4ncLfkIqmVSbXTiaC8ObLcut5KvgoQchThxufK-aAHhyh2vun3D1MnlUAhM-AGTDgrAU7BeL7k1Ag0E0YByjPRcJ1QsnOS_NaQyLIKqf2fmjkw9QTOVSuGyFRU4A1HkzZv/s1600/16fb8a68-8844-49e9-923e-a37a699d8525_zps11d61fa9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9myAqgpbKQK4ncLfkIqmVSbXTiaC8ObLcut5KvgoQchThxufK-aAHhyh2vun3D1MnlUAhM-AGTDgrAU7BeL7k1Ag0E0YByjPRcJ1QsnOS_NaQyLIKqf2fmjkw9QTOVSuGyFRU4A1HkzZv/s640/16fb8a68-8844-49e9-923e-a37a699d8525_zps11d61fa9.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also picked up Papaya Punch lipstick for £4.99, I was on the hunt for a bright coral like shade for summer and this seemed perfect.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is a great shade with a high colour pay off. It's a matte finish and has a good staying power. Again, I always expect more reasonable brands to not be as long lasting or particularly strong in colour but Sleek has definitely proved me wrong. This is a fabulous lipstick, being a matte finish it is a little drying on me so I just press a bit of lip balm over the top.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am now slightly addicted to Sleek, I just want to try everything.It is definitely one of the best high street brands out there. The unusual colour range and extremely good quality products are really what won me over.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I would definitely recommend checking the Sleek stands out :)</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I can't believe that I have actually finished university. It's been a very hard 3 years but it's been worth every second. I had an amazing time, met the best people and even got a boyfriend during it all (no photos of him in this though) - top notch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thought I'd share some photos from my three years I've spent here. In two weeks I move out of my last ever student house, where I live with two of my friends and my boyfriend so I'm dreading move out day, lucky the boy doesn't live far from me at all and we're also viewing some potential grown up houses for us this week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All in all, university was an amazing experience. The work is hard but the experience is fantastic. For those starting uni this year all I can say is to remember to enjoy your spare time with your friends. Also - buy multiple saucepans, baking trays and a butt load of cutlery.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now it's time to find myself a good job and be a little bit more of a grown up, but not much more.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you're all well and good luck to those starting and finishing uni.</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ_HLBmsD7Gcnd7Cw9RciFLNyg8gzprHUrJAWZkkloSAkV42PrWPZCpsi-UqK_jpvLzuq36oxlxWt9LnozWw66p_wXeCzpjBdCzs7CtYrjrHu8h1iK41kyQV_ZgIxpgDsNLNy5sJJToTbw/s1600/daa24033-b4a3-4431-8a59-600f20ba445a_zpsb5efe845.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ_HLBmsD7Gcnd7Cw9RciFLNyg8gzprHUrJAWZkkloSAkV42PrWPZCpsi-UqK_jpvLzuq36oxlxWt9LnozWw66p_wXeCzpjBdCzs7CtYrjrHu8h1iK41kyQV_ZgIxpgDsNLNy5sJJToTbw/s640/daa24033-b4a3-4431-8a59-600f20ba445a_zpsb5efe845.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Illamasqua is quickly becoming one of my favourite brands and when they recently hit 50,000 followers on Twitter they gave a one day only code which was a 50% discount. I was screaming with excitement on the inside... and a little on the outside. I had so much on my wish list and narrowed it down to these three products; <a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/face-and-body/gleam-in-aurora" target="_blank"><span style="color: #b4a7d6;">Gleam Highlight in Aurora</span></a>, <a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/eyes/hollow-cream-pigment" target="_blank"><span style="color: #b4a7d6;">Cream Pigment in Hollow</span></a> and their <a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/eyes/thunder-eye-brow-cake" target="_blank"><span style="color: #d9d2e9;">Eye Brow Cake in Thunder</span></a>. If I had more money at the time I also would have picked up the <a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/eyes/neutral-palette" target="_blank"><span style="color: #b4a7d6;">Neutral Palette</span></a> and their <a href="http://www.illamasqua.com/shop/products/eyes/brow-and-lash-gel" target="_blank"><span style="color: #b4a7d6;">Brow and Lash Gel</span></a> :(</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
The highlight was definitely an impulse purchase. I saw it + it was pretty + it got added to basket = my way of shopping (Who's with me, eh?). But I would go as far to say that this is one of the nicest highlighters on the market. Also, being a cream product means it work well with my dry skin, giving the most beautiful sheen to the face without looking overdone.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had the Cream Pigment in Hollow on my wishlist for sometime after hearing it was a great contour colour for us ghostly white gals instead of bronzer, which it definitely is. The colour has none of those bright orange undertones and just subtly defines cheekbones easily. I get a bit worried about cream contours as I always think it'll be too creamy and the brush will pick up too much product and I'll end up looking ridiculous but the consistency of this is just right.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Saving the best till last. I fell in love with the Eyebrow Cake in Thunder from first use. I tend to just run a eyeshadow colour through my brows but this gives a completely different look to my brows even though it is essentially a powder shadow as well. It makes them look so much more full and filled in and just awesome, but not slug like (top notch!). This is a dark brown shade and my hair is naturally dark brown and this matches perfectly with no orangey undertones. I'm a bit OCD with my brows, i'm definitely not an over plucker as I love my brows at my natural fullness but I like having them as neat as possible and this is just making them look a million times better than before.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
If you've never delved into Illamasqua products then I cannot encourage you enough. They really are just insanely beautiful and some of the best out there.<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was coming up to pay day and the main thing on my list of things to buy was this Stila Palette called In The Light. Sods law, it sold out on ASOS the day before I got paid. It didn't seem to be in stock on any other UK websites. So I not very hopefully popped to the nearest large Boots store and there it was, the last one left and I nabbed it. I must have looked overly proud at the counter.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've been after a new neutrals palette after someone nicked my Naked palette - I'm looking at you Mum! I debated purchasing the Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay but this Stila one was far more up my street with the lovely glittery colours. This retails at £25.00 and I think it's a great price for the overall quality and quantity of the eyeshadows.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidQAF4UInVqSJX8YM2EecXwNhn7qMxZyAbsZuMLWHgp5Bsd6KgqxT8Q5C3xDCWJyZCxF4U0XPTh1-oOu0qSiiHbB_mreodwK4pNo1Z4ihyphenhyphend_pkYgXV6MnkwI5ZAZlsUFBwIyz1rFyRYt0j/s1600/stila+palette.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="370" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidQAF4UInVqSJX8YM2EecXwNhn7qMxZyAbsZuMLWHgp5Bsd6KgqxT8Q5C3xDCWJyZCxF4U0XPTh1-oOu0qSiiHbB_mreodwK4pNo1Z4ihyphenhyphend_pkYgXV6MnkwI5ZAZlsUFBwIyz1rFyRYt0j/s640/stila+palette.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The palette includes 10 eyeshadow shades all together and an eyeliner (top, left - right & bottom, left - right); Bare - matte light nude, Kitten - shimmery pink, Bliss - matte brown/pink, Sunset, shimmery bronze with a hint of pink, Sandstone - matte medium brown, Bubbly - shimmery champagne gold, Gilded Gold - shimmery dark antique gold, Luster - Dark Brown with a hint of shimmer, Night Sky - blue/grey with a hint of shimmer and Ebony - Black. The eyeliner included is one of Stila's smudge sticks in Damsel which is dark brown shade.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All the colours are super pigmented and apply so smoothly. My favourite look is to mix together Bare and Sandstone for an all over the lid colour and then apply Sandstone on the outer V of my eye and underneath my bottom lashes. Press a bit of Bubbly over the entire lid and I'm good to go. Sandstone also doubles up as a perfect eyebrow colour for me too - Bonus!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All in all, this is one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes I've come across and is great value for money!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
The only place that I can find online that still has this in stock is on the QVC website <a href="http://www.qvcuk.com/Stila-In-the-Light-Palette-with-Deluxe-Lip-Glaze.product.202608.html?sc=202608-DRIL&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-6-_-202608" target="_blank">(link!)</a> for a super cheap £24.00, which includes a free lipgloss.<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just thought I'd share the products that are in my current make-up bag rotation. I change up the products a lot but this is what is currently in use.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I start by priming my face with Nars Multi-Protect Primer before adding my foundation, which is currently MAC Face & Body in N1. I'm ridiculously pale and this is the only foundation that I currently own that comes close to matching my ghostly complexion. I leave my base and then go onto my eyes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I find eyeshadow creases on me really bad so I always prime my eyes with Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion. I then apply MAC Shroom eyeshadow all over the lid and Woodwinked in the outer corners and underneath. I don't put anything in my crease as my eye shape would just eat it up, never to be seen again. I line my upper lash line in a cat eye shape and tightline with Maybeline's Gel Eyeliner before putting Une Skin Glow Pencil on my waterline. A slick of Urban Decay Curling Mascara and that's the eyes done. For brows I fill them in with my Clinique pencil. <br />
Back to skin, I conceal with MAC Studio Finish Concealer and then powder under my eyes and forehead with Bourjois Eclat Mineral Powder. I then bronze my face with Guerlain Terracotta Sheer Bronzing Powder and then apply a bit of MAC Melba blush to the apple of my cheeks.<br />
A bit of lipgloss/lipstick and I'm ready to go.</div>
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm definitely known for switching my hair colour and style up often. My problem is I get bored of my hair so quick, since I was about 13 no hairstyle has been sported for more than a year, tops. I'm a natural brunette and the most common hair length I've stuck with is shoulder length.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2008 (I must have been about 15) is the oldest photo I can find but this seems pretty close to my natural colour and the style I use to go for more often than not. But of course, I had to experiment with being a blondie when I was 17. This only stuck around for about 6 months before I decided that I wanted to look like Frankie from The Saturdays, lopping it all off and dying it back dark brown. Instant regret filled me up and since 2010 I have been trying to grow my hair out. I experimented with extensions (2011) as soon as my hair was long enough to scrape back again. In 2012 it finally reached a length that I deemed acceptable and could finally play about with again. So at the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted a change and died a dark blonde with lighter blonde highlights running through the bottom half of my hair, and also I've opted for a side fringe again.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But, the time has come again that I'm craving something new. My hair is currently the longest it has been since I was about 12 and I have vowed never to cut it short again. Instead, I want really long hair, I may even part with my beloved side fringe, opting for a middle parting. I'm also thinking about going a really dark brown colour with a few lighter colours run through the ends, a la Megan Fox.</div>

Hello! A slightly different post from me today, as I would like to introduce you all to my lovely bunny, Moogle. I picked him up from the adoption section at Pets At Home on the 8th March. He'd been in the store for roughly 5 months and as he's quite a large bunny, they had so much trouble trying to find him a home that they had to put him up for adoption instead of the usually process of buying one for £25 there. I fell in love with him instantly, he has huge ears and is quite a sociable little bugger. It took him a few days to settle in but now he thinks he's running the show. He is quite a fatty and gobbles down his food like he's never been fed before and enjoys gnawing the bars of his cage at 6 in the morning. He's definitely a character and loves to run around causing mischief. He's a very welcomed addition to my home, especially since moving out of my family home as I've really been missing the company of a pet.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He'll probably become quite a featured face on this blog so I look forward to making a few posts including my Moogle but for now I hope you're all well and will leave you with this picture of him eating his lettuce (nom!).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(Also, if you want to see more of Moogle you could follow me on Instagram - okay_ophelia, where I'm sure there'll soon be a ton of photos of him.)</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjipXF4r7iv8N7yHMUy9YjtPlv2uLTHHQDBxT-xjuLLWPu-BlUp_kgr4XzwoIFAw7F6WZPTsCgmhLzxjtWBKuAOODY4KvkOkja9blbXrjujWtmId-r9PxnLbAqSh3t4uk5A4Ug-wpyGbAPD/s1600/cara_style.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjipXF4r7iv8N7yHMUy9YjtPlv2uLTHHQDBxT-xjuLLWPu-BlUp_kgr4XzwoIFAw7F6WZPTsCgmhLzxjtWBKuAOODY4KvkOkja9blbXrjujWtmId-r9PxnLbAqSh3t4uk5A4Ug-wpyGbAPD/s640/cara_style.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Cara Delevingne is most recognisable as being one of the Burberry models. Usually I'm lusting after the amazing trench coats when I see the adverts but I was lusting over Cara's phenomenal make-up, eyebrows, hair, cheek bones etc. At only 20 (the same age as me, wahey) I feel her look is definitely one I can adapt for myself. Her amazing brown smokey eye makeup has really influenced the look I have been going for recently. Plus, she's a strong brow chick and I do love a strong eyebrow, maybe not as strong as hers, but you know. I also love her casual style of t-shirts and leather jackets which is right up my street as that's all I really wear. Also, talk about major hair envy. I've been debating going back to me beloved blonde locks for a while now but her hair has real tipped in the favour of this, however I am going to go a few shades darker than what I normally would as I think a darker blonde will suit my complection a lot better than bright blonde hair.<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
Anywho, hope you're all well.</div>

<br />
Hello! Hope you are all well. I've done a similar post to this before on Kate Moss but I thought I'd share another style inspiration on my current favourite person, which is LIGHTS. If you haven't heard of LIGHTS before then she's a 25 year old electro-pop singer from Canada.<br />
When it comes to my style, I'm not hugely adventurous. I found a look I like a few years ago and I stuck with it. I'm all about plain vests/tees which I layer under checked shirts and jackets, throw on a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of boots/Vans and I'm good to go. Therefore, when I discovered who LIGHTS was I thought "Holy crap, I love this girls style", mostly because it's my kind of thing. She has now become my go-to fashion inspiration when I'm feeling a little stuck for ideas. Like me she's always in black skinny jeans or denim cut-off shorts. She also seems to love a denim jacket, both pictured are from Topshop (and I own both of them). Crop tops are also a bit of a LIGHTS trademark, often revealing the tattoos which she has on her stomach. Also, oversized shirts and combat boots are more of her clothing loves and she once said "If I'm wearing a flowery dress, I'm gonna feel less like I can kick somebody's ass, then if I have combat boots on", my thoughts exactly ;)<br />
One of my favourite things about her style is that it's very attainable as she is a high street shopper, hooray! Many of her clothing items are from Topshop, Urban Outfitters and American Apparel. Her boots are often from Steve Madden.<br />
It's not just her clothes I love. Her music, tattoos, hair and make-up are also all fantastic so if you haven't checked her out yet, I think you should.<br />
<br />
Hope you enjoyed!<br />
Love, Phillie. xxxOphelia Parsonshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14509967468264314312noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882844607457739231.post-49140668797529005212012-01-18T11:58:00.000+00:002012-01-18T11:58:24.677+00:00The Topshop Ambush Boots!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Aren't my new boots beautiful?! I picked these up about two weeks ago in Topshop and they are the Ambush boots. I've been trying to find the perfect ankle boots for a while now, the Allegras seemed to sweep everyone off their feet but they weren't really my style, from my personal view when I tried them on they looked a little too chunky with my skinny jeans and I soon came across these babies! They come in at £75 (but there is 20% off in Topshop till midnight on Sunday for students!). Plus, have any of you noticed how similar these are to the fabulous Acne Pistol boots? Which seem to be a favourite of Keira Knightlet at the moment.<br />
<br />

<br />
They really suprised me with how comfy they are, they don't rub anywhere and the heel is the right height as to not make the ball of your feet ache. I love the fact that they have zips on both sides, it's a really nice unique touch. I also really like the slightly worn look to the front of them. I am yet to master the art of running in heels so these have not been worn on any of my communicating adventures yet but I I love just walking around town in them and when I go out with my mates in the evenings. I keep pairing these with my skinny jeans, usually my black or dark green ones and a leather jacket. I think it's fair to say that it's love.<br />
<br />
Much Love<br />

Hope you're all well. Been dying to get this post up for a few days now but my uni assignments have been calling. I feel like i'm on top of my work now so have time to pop a post up.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I had been dying to get my hands on a Guerlain bronzer for such a long time, so when I was wandering around the counter in John Lewis and the lady told me that they currently had 25% off the Terracotta range I thought it would have been rude not to. I never could justify paying over £33.50 on a bronzer so this only came to £25 with the money off. All the bronzers from this range look absolutely gorgeous so I decided upon this one which you can currently pick up from <a href="http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_123388909099_-1?breadcrumb=Home%7EBeauty">Debenhams with 10% off</a>. I choose the colour 01 Blonde after recently becoming a blondie again.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqHRZRTTwhGvt3doAhLhwycggTPzMY3AcHw3BtzS4PVS1pw9Qgl0_ADiVI9SkKkVhxade8219B6VqVHnxP8ffdAU5fVBXx_WOk85c6xc6sOJPO8lxC80XoiaepGkTMluVlJORtMPEo6pUb/s1600/IMG_1113.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" hda="true" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqHRZRTTwhGvt3doAhLhwycggTPzMY3AcHw3BtzS4PVS1pw9Qgl0_ADiVI9SkKkVhxade8219B6VqVHnxP8ffdAU5fVBXx_WOk85c6xc6sOJPO8lxC80XoiaepGkTMluVlJORtMPEo6pUb/s640/IMG_1113.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em>top:lightly swatched, bottom:heavily swatched</em></div>
<br />
As you can see, the colour is gorgeous. The pink shades in the bronzer really compliments my skin colour and the slight shimmer gives my skin a healthy glow. It only has to be applied lightly to give a great sweep of colour. All in all, I love it! Definitely a great new staple on my makeup bag! <br />
I promise I'll get a FOTD up as soon as I can while i'm wearing this.<br />
<br />
Have any of you girls tried the Terracotta range?<br />

If you like a bit of a bright shade then this is great, it's not too over powering so it doesn't leave you looking like a clown. It's a nice mid orange and the cremesheen formula is lovely and applies really nicely. This was my first experience with a bright coloured lipstick and I found it drew attention to my gums (wierd right?). So, all I do is put some vaseline on my lips and then I apply the lippie to just the middle and then blend out with my lip brush, this makes it look more like a sheer lipstick which is so much better for me!<br />

The Jemma Kidd Cream Blush has been my favourite product this month! I absolutely love it and have only been using this blush since I received it. I got this in the shade Pose, it looks really orange in the swatch but when blended in it looks so gorgeous, a light peachy-orange colour. I love peach blushes and this is amazing, the formula isn't thick at all so it gives a really light finish and it's so easy to blend! I haven't tried this on the lips but I can imagine it looking amazing. You can pick this up for just £9 from ASOS <a href="http://www.asos.com/Jemma-Kidd/JK-Jemma-Kidd-Stain-Flush-Blush-Concentrate/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=703672&cid=8156&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Masquerade+02">http://www.asos.com/Jemma-Kidd/JK-Jemma-Kidd-Stain-Flush-Blush-Concentrate/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=703672&cid=8156&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Masquerade+02</a> small price for a great product :)<br />

So, after my MAC Select Foundation not being right for my skin type I chucked it on eBay and bought a new one with the money I made from it. This time I decided to do a bit of background research to find myself the perfect foundation. I wanted it dewy, lightweight but still with a decent coverage. And after a bit of a search on the Debenhams website, I found it! YSL Perfect Touch Foundation!<br />

I love YSL packaging, it always look so shiny and expensive. But onto the foundation... a quick google search showed me that not only does Olivia Palermo use this but also KATE MOSS. So a 40ml bottle retails at £32, a little pricey but definitely worth it.<br />
<br />

This to me is the only downfall, the brush. It feels amazingly soft but it just doesn't blend foundation into the skin. I just squeeze the foundation onto my hand and apply with my normal foundation brush rather than the one provided.<br />
<br />

<br />
I can't get over how much I like this foundation, it just has everything I was looking. I purchased this in Opal(3). I always find no matter how light in colour my foundation is it always makes me look a little on the orange side, so the fact this doesn't is a big deal to me! It feels so light on the skin and it provides about a medium coverage but buildable which is always handy. It smells a bit like melons, which is strange but quite nice. <br />
This is definitely a new favourite of mine and I feel really impressed by my first YSL foundation!<br />
